How long does mastic take to dry?
Most sealants are touch-dry in a few hours but can take up to 24 hours to fully cure, depending on conditions.
Can you remove old, mouldy sealant?
Yes – we’ll carefully remove old silicone before reapplying fresh mastic to give a clean, durable seal.
Do you work in bathrooms and kitchens?
Absolutely. We seal baths, showers, sinks, kitchen worktops and more – all with a neat, watertight finish.
Is this suitable for outside work?
Yes, we also apply mastic around external windows, doors and expansion joints in render or brickwork.
Mastic (also known as silicone or sealant) is used to seal gaps and prevent water or air getting through. We regularly apply mastic around:
Shower trays and bathtubs
Kitchen worktops
Window and door frames (internal and external)
Skirting boards and flooring joints
Expansion joints in render or concrete
And nearby areas – just ask if we cover your postcode.
